Great News on Funding for Health Care in Indian Country!

We’re excited to hear from the National Indian Health Board that Congress has increased funding for various health programs in Indian Country.  We’re also happy to announce a large grant ($600,000+) to the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes that our company, ThunderHawk LLC helped prepare.  A Native-owned firm, ThunderHawk enjoys the services of one of our principles, Dr. Alex Thundercloud, MD, who was the key member of our team on that project.  For further information contact us at

PA3-Jurisdiction and Controls for Justice Systems $717,027
PA6-Violence Against Women Tribal Governments Program $900,000
PA9-Juvenile Justice-Coordination for Effective Juvenile System $250,681
Total $1,938,642

Each program was fully funded at the requested level! We are honored and pleased to have been a part of the team responsible for facilitation and preparation of most of the components and coordination of the final Ho-Chunk application.
