The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is accepting applications for fiscal year 2014 Cooperative Agreements Tribal Behavioral Health (Short Title: Native Connections). The purpose of this program is to prevent and reduce suicidal behavior and substance abuse and promote mental health among American Indian/Alaska Native young people up to and including age 24.
SAMHSA anticipates that up to 20 awards will be made at up to $200,000 each year for up to five years. Actual award amounts may vary, depending on the availability of funds.
