Excitement Builds as ICDBG Announcement Looms-$70 Million Available?

ICDBG, HUD’s Indian Community Development Block Grant program, is likely to announce guidelines very soon.  The program contributed over $56 million to Tribal projects last round and some are suggesting that number may rise to approximately $70 million in this next round.  For  a list of last round recipients see: http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2013-11-12/pdf/2013-27012.pdf .

The allocations for the Area ONAP geographic jurisdictions, including carryover from prior years,were as follows:

Northern Plains …………………. 7,662,430
Southwest ………………………….        19,804,882
Northwest …………………………. 2,821,668
Alaska ……………………………….          5,733,190
Total  …………………………..       $53,615,010
